WAITER
Description- Take order and serve food and beverage to
patrons at table in dinning establishment
DUTIES
- · Check patron’ identification in order to ensure that they meet minimum age requirement for consumption of alcoholic beverage.
- · Collect payment for customers.
- · Write patrons’ food orders on order slip memorize order or enter orders to computer for transmittal to kitchen staff.
- · Take order from patrons for food or beverages.
- · Check with customers to ensure that they are enjoying their meal and take action to correct any problem.
- · Serve food and beverages to patrons prepare specialty dishes at tables as required.
- · Prepare check that itemize and total meal cost and sales taxes.
- · Remove dishes and glasses from tables or counters, and take them to kitchen for cleaning.
- · Inform customers of daily specials.
- · Clean tables and counters after patrons have finished dinning.
- · Prepare table for meals , including setting up items such as linen silverware, and glassware.
- · Escort customers to their tables.
- · Garnished and decorated dishes in preparation for serving .
